ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY

On this day 66 years ago, Winston Churchill assumed the role of British Prime Minister, announcing, "I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat," and promising "to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us; to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime." His unwavering insistence on victory at all costs proved him to be one of the most influential, inspiring and kick-butt leaders of our time. He showed no tolerance for tyranny.

In German, I believe this says, "The Warmonger." Go get 'em, Winston!
